Work continues on the road beneath the interstate bypass overpass to replace the roadway, median, and curbs. More construction further down Westerville Road enlarges the Dempsey Road interchange and widens the road in front of businesses before the Alum Creek bridge. The city of Westerville is also changing the South State Street intersection at Huber Village Blvd. for wider lanes and an improved traffic pattern.
